The organization deserves praise, it is normality to aspire for so long. Blackhawk Security do not need no introduction, I think it's enough to say that we all feel better archdaily when we know from the start that they will be present to quote Andrew Herod, you rock! \ M /
I would have liked the program announcement to clarify and times you climb each band on stage, I know that many times does not depend on the organizers, but some parts were useful zones. Do not we all want to participate even all day, so I missed HateSphere and I arrived just when GOD was already on stage.
I admit that for whatever reason I missed until now live and records, unfortunately, does not do justice. I admit I have a soft spot and message unique to them and welcome effort to remind us who we are and where we come from.
There are many voices that deride what they call "Dacianism" and prefer to praise strident archdaily alleged civilizing meanings coming from elsewhere. Fix their problem may come a day that will overcome frustrations and cease to want to have belonged to other nations, supposedly superior. Or not.
Finntroll was one of the bands for which I wanted to attend this concert. There are some fan, I listened and I did discography interested in various biographical details, archdaily but I love listening to them.
Folk metal blackened about their home record, people have a well defined and highly consistent. Any music has black accents (and appearance) of their energy and I liked the joy they have shown. Trolls are cute creatures, but Finntroll certainly are. Even I did not understand a word they sing, kinda hard fact from a Finnish troops, to fuel confusion chose to speak Swedish.
I was very curious to see them again live in Paradise Lost, after twenty years. Yes, the last time I saw them in 1994 at Skip Rock. They were the creators and leaders of current albums drew become references (Icon came out in 1993, after the Draconian Times 1995).
Time passed, I have not watched constantly, some albums I liked, others less, but I always appreciated their effort to evolve artistically. Given that there were ever a band of virtuosos and their power always stood compositions and group effort.
From the sound oscillated between bad and mud and finally managed to get downright incomprehensible. Passing through lack of voice and mediocrity falsările Nick Holmes or Greg Mackintosh's already annoying people come seemed to tick another song, to cash the check and get his way. The only one who seemed to enjoy it on stage was Aaron Aedy, but that comes with spring flower and ...
Do not know how they got that happens and just how much they care. Perhaps playing sounds bad and even worse is normal for them. Actually I do not care, I will definitely miss the next concert.
