It was wonderfully easy to install 8.1, but stupid one almost gets called for a Microsoft account to move on after installation. To proceed without by logging in with the wrong information a few times, then comes the opportunity to continue without Microsoft account. Is it the new Modern UI style ..?
Now I run with Windows 8 and Windows Server 2012 approximately years time, and is getting flash player used to "under similarities", but I think now there are several things that seems strange and not very logical.
For example, all the shuffling around between MUI and desktop that can be encountered if, for instance, if you find a text or Word / Excel file in SkyDrive and will open it so you are thrown flash player back to the desktop, flash player then why use MUI in the first place? It makes no sense on a tablet (or PC).
However, I can see many options now possible in MUI 8.1, so that's a step, but still does not make sense as long as the desktop is behind it. It seems a bit like the time Windows was a DOS shell (to put it bluntly).
It was the one thing I have against MUI, the second is the appearance. Why must everything be so flat? You can not see in advance if it's flash player just a text or a button to do something about. I think the whole thing is rather flat and boring, just look at Windows flash player logo:
Fortunately, we can now with Windows 8.1 boot directly to the desktop, so you should not pass MUI "start" menu first. I will say it like it was a necessary function to get made, as long as the desktop is an option.
